We believe that a strong, co-operative relationship between nursery and home is key for a child’s happiness and social and educational development.
We work closely with parents so that we can understand what is best for your child, and we take the time to talk to our parents each and every day. Having an active dialogue means we can get to know you as parents as well as address any concerns you may have.
We have taken extra steps to ensure that this relationship is maintained even in the difficult circumstances covid has presented.
For instance, we make time to talk on the telephone or via E-mail or on messenger when face to face contact is not feasible.
All of our children are nominated a key person and also a 2nd Key person to cover circumstances such as, holidays etc… The Key person will be responsible for keeping track of your child’s progress & development by carrying out observations & assessments. Staff use this information to inform the next steps in planning and to further develop your child’s abilities and interests.
Our twice yearly parents’ evenings provide an excellent opportunity to talk about your child’s learning journey and creates a platform where we can project your child’s development in the best way possible.
Having a successful two-way system of care is essential to the development of your child and is why we are just as passionate about getting to know you as we are your child.
