The Tweenie rooms are comprised of 4 large rooms catering for 36 children aged 2-3 years, the ratio is 1 staff member to 4 children. The Tweenie rooms are designed to stimulate imagination and encourage confidence in children whilst learning through play.

We have a large built-in slide area with an underneath den making space, a purpose-built ball pool with mood lighting, a home corner for children to experience role-play, a messy play area with a mud kitchen and a reading area for storytelling. The children also love to use the outdoor space where they can perform imaginative play on our stage and they have opportunities to experience gardening.

The room leader of the Tweenie room is Sarah, the nursery manager, and she is supported by Jenny, Alisha, Chloe H (SENCO), Ashlyn, Leanne, Sophie, Amy G and Amy S, who are all fully qualified to level 2 & 3 in childcare & education and all hold first aid qualifications.
