This funding is available to working parents which allows your child to receive up to 30 hours free childcare in nursery.

All funded children must pay for meals daily;
Lunch — £3.00
Tea —£2.00
Every child is eligible for Government funding from the term after his/her 3rd birthday. There is no need to apply for this as your child will be automatically receive this, and can only be used at one setting.
Your child can receive 15 hours free childcare weekly during term time or alternatively receive 11.5 hours weekly over 50 weeks of the year. Parents can top-up sessions with fees should you wish your child to attend for longer sessions.
To qualify for educational funding , your child must have reached the age of 3 before the below terms:
December 31st – to claim funding in January.
March 31st – to claim funding in April
August 31st – to claim funding in September
